On wednesday 28th August, a beautiful sunny August evening, the Dutch Chamber of Commerce hosted a wonderful sailing event that brought together members and friends/colleagues for a unique experience on the waters of Djurgården and the Stockholm's near archipelago. With the perfect weather, picturesque surroundings, and a light breeze, the event was a wonderful blend of networking, fun, and maritime history.
The centerpiece of the evening was the Shamrock, a sailing boat with a rich Dutch history. Adding to the special connection to the Netherlands was one of the crew members, who proudly revealed their half-Dutch heritage, bringing an extra touch of familiarity to the event.
As the boat sailed smoothly, the 25 attendees, representing a diverse mix of professionals from different industries, mingled on deck, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere.
The event concluded with a beautiful sunset and enthusiastic promises for a repeat next year, as attendees disembarked with smiles!
