Following tradition, the Dutch Chamber in Gothenburg set sail once again on the last Friday of August aboard the classic vessel 'Mathilda'. With great weather on our side, all the elements for a successful evening were present: sunshine, a steady breeze, fresh sandwiches, and a fantastic mix of people.
Conversations naturally shifted from returning to work after the summer to life in general. We were pleased to see a strong turnout of familiar members alongside several new faces, whom we warmly welcome to the network.
Cruising through the Gothenburg archipelago for a few hours was an excellent way to end the week. The sailing trip even turned into a spontaneous seal-watching tour, as seals were spotted nearby and everyone gathered at the rail to watch. The trip was ultimately rounded off by a beautiful sunset over the water.
A big thank you to all 21 participants and the crew of the Mathilda for making it such a memorable evening. Until next year!
