As 2011 comes to a close we witness the political climax surrounding the Euro-woes. The powerhouses Germany and France come together to pull Europe out of the crises and the markets seem to react cautious but positive.

Although Sweden is not one of the Euro countries there can be no doubt that economic recession in the Eurozone has a direct effect on the Swedish economy. But even in tough economic times Sweden continues to demonstrate that it has one of the most resilient economies.

The Swedish Minister of Finance was chosen the best Finance Minister in the EU, there are new government plans to beef up the capital adequacy requirements for the country's four largest bank, Saab Gripen closes a new deal with Switzerland and the Swedish IT-gaming industry is booming as never before. Just to name a few examples!

And so we enter the Jultide season with a light spirit and our eyes focused on 2012. A year in which the Dutch Chamber will celebrate it's 10th Anniversary. But first up are our Dalarna event, a spectacular Christmas Mingle, a New Years Mingle in Region West and on the 3 of February our famous Annual Dinner.

With a class A location as Winterviken, a prize winning chef and "mindblowing" entertainment lined up this years Annual Dinner promises to be an experience for all senses. You will receive more information soon but we urge you to mark this date in your calendar now already!

We wish you a merry Christmas and a happy and proftable 2012!
