I am very fine and I am enjoying life in Sigtuna with my wife and 3 daughters. It has a been challenging period due to Covid-19 for the past 1-2 years, both private and businesswise. I am sure that all members recognise this. Especially businesswise as I work for DHL being one of the global transport leaders, the market changed a lot when it comes to buying behaviour, capacity, lock-downs, e-commerce etc. Other than that, I am convinced that we all see the light in the tunnel and hopefully can enjoy our well-deserved summer.
Can you tell us why you decided to become a member?
I have lived in Sweden for the past 20 years and as I earlier worked for Airfrance & KLM Cargo, for myself has there always been a natural and close connection with The Netherlands and Sweden,
as well during the time when I worked for DB Schenker and now for DHL.
I look very much forward to get acquainted with all other members of the Dutch Chamber as I see this as a great opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences and as well to support others. Even though our countries and cultures seem to be similar, we do act differently which is of course very natural as we have grown up in different environments. I wish you all a great summer and look forward to the next event(s).
