/On the 15th of November we co-hosted an event in Malmö with the French Chamber Of Commerce and United Spaces, celebrating which great opportunities the city offers to international companies.

During the evening a panel discussion with some key people from foremost the tech industry discussed the pros and cons of operating in Malmö. The panel consisted of Sara Sterner (Executive Director, Orbital Systems), Jenny Berg NilsRichterson (Vibe Manager, Massive Entertainment), Henrik Dahlin (Design Thinking Expert, IBM), Charlotta Algeria Ursing (CEO, Minc Malmö) and Pelle Josephson (CEO, Ehrenstråhle).

They all agreed on that Malmö offers a different, helpful and daring mindset, compared to the other large cities in sweden. This is attractive especially for innovative  tech- and it-startups. But there are also areas for improvement.
The audience gladly shared their experiences and questions with the panel and we dare to say that this was exactly the kind of event that we want to host, where great connections are made and new insights are provided. You can read more about the evning here.

Friends of the Dutch Chamber sponsored drinks for the evening, Heineken provided beer and Drink Caliente provided their ultimate alcohol- free alternative.

On Monday the 20th of November the Dutch Chamber's Executive members were invited to the exclusive lunch in the boardroom of the Head office of Handelsbanken at Kungsträdgården.

We are honoured that once again this unique event was hosted by Handelsbanken. With an inspiring presentation of Handelsbankens CEO Anders Bouvin, Claes Måhlén Chief Strategist and Per Elcar, who is head of Markets and Asset Management. They informed us about the their view on the development of Handelsbanken.

Jens Wiklund who is General Manager of Handelsbanken Netherlands told us what Handelsbanken is currently doing in the Netherlands and what the following steps are.  

We are already homesick for the water from the previous Regatta. That is why the preparations for the International Chambers Sailing Regatta 2018 are in full swing. It promises to be a day full of teambuilding, fun and great company.

On Wednesday the 1st of November 20 Entrepreneurs visited us from the Twente region of the Netherlands. 
The event started with a presentation of the Deputy Ambassador, Govert Visser. He welcomed our guests to the Embassy of the Netherlands and enriched us with the Dutch history of the embassy building. The second presentation of the evening was given by Gigi de Groot, Specialist in Business Culture. During her presentation, she showed us that Sweden and the Netherlands have some remarkable cultural differences. The last presentation of the evening was given by Negar Sabaghzadeh from Invest Stockholm, who informed us about Stockholm's business climate, its opportunities and future outlook. 

The evening came to a close with a mingle in which new contacts were made and opinions about the evening's topics were exchanged.
