Blockchains can impact our lives as much as the internet has done of the last 30 years. We just still need to find out how! | On Wednesday 14th September we had the first Orange Table after the summer with as special guest Frank Schuil CEO of Safello. Frank introduced us the the in's and out's of the world of Bitcoins, which in fact were created in part as a protest movement to discredited existing Banking World following the 2008. crash. The real revolutionary idea, however is not Bitcoins, Frank maintains, but the Blockchain technology. A clever and smart technology supporting a transparent distributed uncompromisable ledger of any transaction that takes place between parties in the virtual world. Something that could change our real lives, in many still unforeseen ways, as much as the internet has done with us over the last 30 years. The challenge is still to create the magic that will kick start wide spread adoption from the base - and that is what Frank is working on with his startup Safello. |
