On Monday the 16th of October DCC region South hosted an event with the theme ”Dare to Brave” at the very suitable place Bloom in the Park known for its innovative food and place in the Michelin Guide.
We had invited 2 entrepreneurs from the region, Frida Martinsson and Thomas Adner. Frida is the founder of By Frida EM, a fashion company creating sustainable designs made of inner tubes from bicycles. Thomas is the founder and CEO of Caliente, a company making and distributing refreshing fruit drinks that profile themselves as the ultimate non-alcoholic beverage as their products offers a certain kick from chili.
The two of them, as well as the founder of Bloom in the Park, Iggy Vidal, spoke to our guests about what it's like to follow your dreams, and do what you believe in. They all agreed on that bravery is doing just that.
The guests also got the chance to taste some of the brave creations from Bloom in the Park. Questions and discussions followed about ”what is bravery” and how to overcome your fears and doubts.
All in all, it was a very inspiring evening where new acquaintances were made, and we were happy to see new and old members meet and get engaged with the topic of the evening.
