A logical step towards the Chamber
With more Dutch companies in their client network it was a logical step for Calle to become a member himself. ‘The Dutch Chamber is a network with many interesting people, companies and events that create an interesting platform for networking’. Calle was himself also part of the board of the Dutch Chamber. Today he and his team are still involved in the chamber, currently they are helping out to re-design our profile as the chamber, both offline and online.
Talking about the Dutch and Swedish relations in his work environment, it’s interesting to get his point of view. ‘Swedes should learn to take quicker decision without involving a lot of people to come to consensus… and I think the Dutch could learn from the Swedes sometimes, to have a bit of a more relaxed view on work…’ It’s adding energy to the company to work internationally and for example with a client like Transavia. The dutch market is a stable market for Happify.
Hands on together with the team
Energy & ‘feeling good’ is important for Calle and his colleagues. This is actually also the background for their company name. ‘Starting up this company, together with Fredrik, we wanted to work in an organization that made us happy, and of course that our staff and clients should feel the same!’
Being the CEO he clearly shows his passion for his field of expertise by working with his clients and their communication strategy on a daily basis. Together with his colleagues; specialists like art directors and graphic developers, he offers strategy, design, advertising and content for proprietary, editorial and bought media channels.
