No matter what you need to perform, Tony explained that the key is to be relaxed and listen to yourself.
It became a quite intimate workshop, where Tony told us about how the nervsystem and brain works, and how it is wired since ancient times and how this affects how we react in certain situations.
These reactions are often not the ideal move to deal with stress. Neither is how our society interprets the behaviours from our ancestors, that still kick in when we feel threatened for example.
We got to practice how to relax, and be comfortable in ourselves, and how this affects an audience or other people around us. For some of us the evening was a real eye opener. We hadn’t realised for instance how our body language is perceived, it's actually quite the contrary from expected.
We are really grateful that we got the opportunity to participate in one of Tony’s appreciated workshops, and we dare to say, that we all left with some new useful insights.
