With 44 participants of which 33 voting members and 4 proxy votes, the quorum agreed to discharge the board from their liability.
Annika Närling, Håkan Westin and Frank Cleeren were chosen as new board members and Els Berkers as the new Chair. All were voted by acclamation.
Then it was time for the new Chair Els Berkers to thank Annemieke Ålenius and of course Maarten Merckx for all the work done. Especially a big big thank you for the almost 10 years that Maarten has spent blood, sweat and tears to lead the Chamber to where it stands today. It was hard to put in words the appreciation we have for Maartens dedication and effort.
Then we were invited to mingle at the Residence of Mrs. Ines Coppoolse before Mrs. Katarina Areskoug Mascarenhas, head of representation of the EU Commission in Sweden was invited by our Ambassador to share her perspectives and answer all questions. Listening to the questions of the participants it was quite clear that this topic is of interest to all.
We thank Mrs. Coppoolse for this invitation, Mrs. Katrina Areskoug Mascarenhas for her presentation and members and guest for their participation and votes.
The new board is eager to start to work on the ambitions for 2020.
